CINNAMON SWIRL PANCAKES

Oh yeah! Cinnamon + pancakes = pure delight!
Personally I love cinnamon and pancakes. Until now I haven't tried mixing the two, until today! And prepare yourself for a little piece of heaven!

Just the other day I founded this amazing recipe on Pinterest! And it is a lot of fun to make! You can find the recipe yourself on Pinterest or just read further here ;)

All you need is:

For Cinnamon swirl:
1/2 stick unsalted butter (50g)
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

For pancakes:(7-8 pancakes)
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 big egg
1 tablespoon oil

Directions:

First prepare the cinnamon filling. Melt the butter without boiling it. Mix it with brown sugar and cinnamon. When mixed put it into a bag and put it aside.

Then prepare the pancakes. Mix flour, salt and baking powder together and mix it with milk, egg and oil.

Now we are moving to the fun part :)

Prepare a hot pan. Put batter for one pancake on and wait until small bubbles appear. Then you take the cinnamon filling (cut one corner of the bag of and use the bag to control the filling) and form a swirl on the pancake.
Always start in the middle and be careful not putting it too close to the edge!

It is difficult to flip the pancakes without burning the filling, but give it a go and do your best!

One last recommend - it is great for brunch..
Have fun!
